It seems like the explanations are vague and obtuse, so much so that the meaning is lost. If I say my 3 principles are catfish, burrito, rattlesnake it makes as much sense as mind, thought, consciousness. A principle is 1) fundamental truth or proposition that serves as the foundation for a system of belief or behavior or for a chain of reasoning; or 2) A rule or belief governing one's personal behavior. I'm not sure what the truth's are that are being described unless the fundamental truth's are "we have a mind, we have thoughts, we have consciousness". If those are the statements being made, then I agree with the statements but I fail to see how it qualifies as a principle or how it helps anyone in living a joyful life. If the principles are something different, then the meaning has completely escaped me. If someone can provide a detailed clarification I would be very appreciative.
